What is Micanse Bordados & CO?

Micanse Bordados & CO is a contemporary embroidery studio powered by a solo textile artist based in Prague.

I combine a mix of embroidery and weaving techniques to create one of a kind handmade textile and wood embroideries.

For my work, I upcycle a variety of materials such as tapestry or jeans fabric scraps and beautiful wooden sheets.

Feminism and nature are my main sources of inspiration.

Before Christmas I did some trials on printed cotton fabric. I am very happy with the results, though it was quite hard to embroider, cause the back of the fabric has some glue leftover. These were gifts for family 😊 I am now testing my own printa
